“I’m in sunny Florida,” says our angel, “and I see a definite beach day out my window.” A picturesque scene of an angel seated in her home surrounded by heaven is practically hand-drawn in front of me like a sketch by an artist in Times Square; picture perfect. As she tells of the vision before her she seems content and happy as if she is seated in her favorite place in her home, which actually turns out to be her kitchen.

“I grew up in New Jersey, just north of Princeton and lived there with my family for my entire childhood.” There is pride in her words, an appreciation for one’s past. “I moved around a few times since college, but I’m currently living in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.” Thinking of her childhood, which she describes as “probably weird” she notes that she had only one best friend and few that she was close to. “I spent a lot of time chasing boys,” she says. “When I was a little older, I danced competitively and had dance classes four or five nights a week which took up a lot of my time.”

“I live across the street from the beach and literally anything you could want to do is within walking distance to my home,” she describes the city lives. “Typical hustle and bustle of a city, but much more laid back and a little bit artsy.” The city in which she lives and loves will always hold a special place in her heart, however there are other places that are dear to her. “I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to quite a few countries over the years,” Stephanie explains. “My favorites would probably be Germany and Japan. I also spent a month in China and that was definitely one of my most memorable experiences.”

“I’m a mommy’s girl,” admits Stephanie. “I spend a lot of time with my family, but my mom and I are always on the same wave length. She probably understands me better than I love myself.” As for her family, “My father is 100% Italian and my mother’s side is a mix of Czech and German,” she says. “My father’s family hails from southern Italy, but there is not much information as to exactly where my mother’s relatives come from.”

Stephanie began her modeling career due to her body art. “[I] Started having quality photos taken for my tattoo artist,” she recalls, “and I got immediate feedback from brands and agencies that I never expected.” And there is much to love about modeling. “I love getting all decked out. The makeup and hair, the free clothes and sexy underwear; love it.” With genuine love for modeling in place, somehow she is still undecided. “I don’t know how long I’ll stay in modeling,” she says, “but I do enjoy the recognition from the alternative community and fans. I think I’d love to book a few magazine covers at once and really wow them.”

Confidence, belief in yourself and your dreams is a good start to making one’s goals a reality says Stephanie. Having real connections in the industry is a good follow up. “My younger sister was my photographer for my very first shoot,” recalls our angel. “She’s a trained makeup artist and I asked her if she’d be interested in doing my makeup and work the camera and she was sweet enough to agree. Everything I do now is all thanks to her.” With an earnest start, Stephanie soon found herself a working model. “I am blessed to be able to support myself and my lifestyle with just my modeling career,” she realizes. “Being that I don’t need a second job, I have a lot of down time to spend with my family and friends. That’s definitely the biggest bonus to what I do.” Other perks come from her beauty itself. “There’s definitely perks to being an attractive female, I’ll admit. But I think my personality has just as much to do with it. I’m typically very friendly and I like talking with people and I think my willingness to engage others is what gets me “special treatment” if you want to call it that.”

After a long day of work, there are few things that help her to relax. “An intensely hot shower and a few hours in front of the TV,” she says. Salted, dark chocolate is a guilty pleasure, which helps as well, but television, and movies are critical. “I love following a new series on tv or going to the movies and then completely analyzing it with a friend the next day like we’re some kind of big-shot critics.”  On the days she finds herself completely free, sleep consumes. “I love sleeping all day,” she says. “Some think that’s a waste, but luckily I can’t hear your judgments while I’m dreaming. I get at least eight hours of sleep every, even though my eight hours, usually drags into the next afternoon and it becomes more like ten hours.”

What is beauty to a beauty? “To me,” Stephanie answers, “beauty is a confidence you can’t help but notice.” You could easily assume it was her beauty that got her noticed, brought the right attention that quickly gets a pretty into the modeling industry but it was actually her tattoos. “[I] Started having quality photos taken for my tattoo artist and got immediate feedback from brands and agencies that I never expected.” Steadfast Brand is a company along with Levi that she hopes to the chance to work with.

“I sometimes wish I ate better,” she says; her words honest and open. “I’m at a point still in my twenties where I can whatever I want and it doesn’t alter my weight,” Stephanie explains, “but I definitely eat a lot of food I know is terrible for me.” I find myself hoping she finds the strength to eat healthier. It’s her family and friends she wishes to surround herself with, being she is most passionate this and her beloved little felines. Above all she wants to live life joyous and abundant, enjoying whatever it is she is doing and whenever she is doing it. Sounds like heaven to me.
