avenue foch paris mansion

List price: US $140,000,000

The Property: This magnificent private palace on Paris’ Avenue Foch has gone on the market for a whopping $140 million, which makes it the second most expensive residential property in the world. The $150 million Spelling Manor in Beverly Hills sits at the No. 1 position in terms of the current listings. The palatial estate, offered for sale by Christie’s Great Estates affiliate Daniel Féau, was built in 1912 for the Duchesse de Montmorency. Back in 1927, mining tycoon and famed art collector Antenor Patino bought the private mansion.
