Jack in the Box by 45 Kilo is a tool-furniture designed for all your electric devices. You can create what appears to be a chaotic yet organized work station of sorts. It is made of powder-coated steel and comes in a variety of colors and beech wood. The Jack in the Box comes with 15 sockets to accomodate as many devices. 45 Kilo is a design studio founded in 2007 by Philipp Schopfer and Daniel Klapsing while studying product design at Bauhaus University Weimar and is situated in Weimar, Germany. No, it’s not a fan or a hatchet, but a clock. The Spire clock from Wireframe was inspired by the movement of a Japanese folding fan. The hour and the minute hands of this clock constrain the spiral form at two ends. The spiral form of the clock unfolds and folds in the rhythm of a Japanese fan.
