The texts were funny; this angel had wings that made her fly. Not in the literal sense but in reference to her personality and candor; she could fly off with the comments. Full of double meanings and innuendos, her phrases and technological utterances were bold and fearless. I enjoyed this immensely. We are all people here; words mean nothing but their definitions until we allow ourselves to feel something. And she made me feel… something. Ha. Incredibly sexy, it was hard… to believe it was she whom sent these interesting combinations of words and rhetoric. This is her interview.

How does one forget an angel as pretty as Chelsie Aryn Miller? I don’t know how but I did. Blame it on my ADHD; blame it on my crazy schedule, blame it on whatever reason comes to mind but there is no real excuse for forgetting the chance to get to know a beauty like Chelsie. I feel like a fool… still here we are. But the interview is of a Christmas past, but who she is hasn’t changed. It is my fault for telling this tale after so much time has passed. I suspect the essence of an angel rarely changes.

Pretty pictures, beautiful angels, amazing design all appear within Angels Playpen, visually intoxicating us into an addiction. Still these words shared between two minds carry the most potential to resonate in a much more lasting manner. We, whether wittingly or not, create an alternate reality, nothing truly imagined so it’s still the real world, just a little more focused. We provide our viewers with something they can actually read, a short story perhaps. Our angel now, Hailey Solewin, is a self-admitted avid consumer of script and prose. “I am a huge reader,” she says righteously, “it’s one of my biggest pastimes and hobbies.” Between the lines written here in Angels Playpen we’ll gleam a little more than words can adequately communicate.

When you have ambition and become fearless in the pursuit of your dreams, things can get lonely out on the road to success and to further compound the issue, the world can be downright negative at times. “Even though there is so much negativity in the world,” Alexus Untied begins talking of her own personal circumstances; “the people on my life bring me joy daily. They are very supportive and I always have someone to go to for anything.” It’s a blessing to have such a support system; so many of us artists do not. It's the people that make up your inner circle that you eventually come to rely on for strength and having people who genuinely wish to see you succeed is amazing.

With her birthday fast approaching, this interview feels a bit harried, her request to have it complete before it arrives adds an element of suspense. Taylor Noelle is a Dutch, German and Irish angel from Syracuse, New York. So this is a celebration of all that she is, the experiences that made her, the thoughts that consume her, and the desires that drive her. Her birthday is April 9th, perhaps a day that could one day become a holiday to us all. If I could treat her to a trip anywhere of her choosing, I would. Maybe I should find out where she’d choose first…  “Lake Hillier,” she responds, “the famous pink lake in Australia.”

When someone says their biggest fear is of “failing”, you wonder how resolute they are in securing a successful life and future. How does one even become a failure at life? Do they fail to live out their dreams, fail to embrace their destiny, or is it simply a matter of not achieving a specific set of goals? Failure varies from person to person, each of us fails at something at one time or another and fear of failure shouldn’t stop one from worthy pursuits, chasing their dreams; seeking to achieve all their hearts desire. Our featured angel, L. Shima says failing petrifies her; this I will take as a sign that she has big plans for herself.

Edita Rink. High fashion looks draw you in with cartoon-like wonder; she is a striking Eastern European beauty indeed. Born in Lithuania where she admits she had a very ‘fun’ childhood, Edita was a tomboy who played sports like baseball and basketball. It’s hard to see the sporty past in her images, all one sees is a determined angel who has sacrificed so much to become a model, yet here she is.

In Punto Ballena, Uruguay, amongst the lush nature and fresh air, an angel watches as people go about enjoying themselves, playing sports, children playing on the beach. The world-renown Casapueblo Hotel sits majestically in sight. “That building is all white,” says our angel, “big with special architecture.” The scene described belong to the very statuesque Claudia Rivarelli. Born on Uruguay, she lived in Brazil also, establishing a home and career in both countries. California beckons her now, the state a place she looks forward to establishing in as well. “I’m a professional bikini fit model,” Claudia announces proudly. Fit she is physically, mentally however we have yet to discover.

Margaret Wood is a diva. At times… She knows this about herself and  wants to learn how not to be so demanding at those critical moments when she will have nothing short of what she wants… then and there. She is out-of-shape when it comes to exercising her patience. “I wish I could be more like my mom,” she laments. “She is so easy going.” We all have something about ourselves we wish to improve on; it’s the mark who is honest with themselves and therefore much more likely to be honest with others. We’ll see just how honest this angel is.

She mentions that she suffers from Thanatophobia, a phobia that almost everyone deals with at some point in their lives. Thanatophobia is the understandable fear of death. “I’m not sure why I am so scared of it,” she explains, “but I guess I just am scared of dying young and not being able to fulfill my lifelong goals.” Death is an inescapable part of life, which is why here in Angels Playpen we live like every day is our last, because it very well can be. We urge each individual to discover their ‘heaven on earth’, a place of unmitigated pleasure or a combination of all the little things that make life worth living. Our newest angel admits she has yet to discover hers. “I’ll let you know when I find it,” says Luccia Cafiero, a model from Boulder Colorado whom we hope to help lead to her very own personal paradise.
