The "Golden Moon" is a temporary architectural construct that revisits the concept of a Chinese lantern. On display in Hong Kong's Victoria Park for six days, it was developed for the 2012 Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Wonderland in just eleven days. The Golden Moon also pays homage to the legend of Moon Goddess Chang'e who can only meet her husband Houyi on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the passionate burning love between them are represented by mock flames.
